Winter in the woods

The Beach Road area of White Stone was blanketed with about two inches of snow on Thursday morning, January 28. The winter storm was the first of a few for the week and was followed by frigid temperatures. The forecast through the weekend calls for daytime highs in the 40s and nighttime lows in the 30s, possibly dropping another 10 degrees into next week. Photo by AnnGardner Eubank
