Yankee Point Racing and Cruising Club (YPRCC) members have anticipated the end of winter and the beginning of a long-awaited spring as never before as the club prepares for the 2021 sailing and racing season.
The lack of most sailing programs the last year has motivated boaters and sailors of YRCCC to make up for lost 2020 season, normally spent plying the water of the Northern Neck and the southern Chesapeake Bay. Many last tasted the salty air in the Hospice Turkey Shoot Regatta in October 2020.
Plans for 2021 were laid early in the year with an aggressive sailing program, including the resumption of Wednesday evening races and….
