The Lady Devils dropped three games out of four last week in varsity softball and went 1-2 in the Wells Fargo Advisors Invitational at Dream Fields.
Lancaster is now 5-3 and will open Northern Neck District play on the road Tuesday, April 12, at Rappahannock.
Northampton handed Lancaster it’s first loss—breaking a four-game winning streak—with a one-run win on the Eastern Shore March 28. The Yellow Jackets stung the Lady Devils, 6-5, with Rachel Taft on the mound for LHS. Taft had eight strikeouts.
The Lady Devils had 13 hits in the outing….
