YMCA dedicates new aquatic center

KILMARNOCK—The Northern Neck Family YMCA, 39 William B. Graham Court, Kilmarnock, celebrated the grand opening of the Monroe Family Aquatic Center and the Pauline “Pim” Montgomery Family Pool on Saturday, November 9. The celebration included a ceremony with several speakers, recognition, ribbon-cutting and inaugural swim and a reception.

It is an honor to be associated with this ongoing project,” said campaign chairman Paul Sciacchitano. “This YMCA has served this community to transform so many lives through health wellness, water safety and fellowship. It will continue to do this for decades to come.”

He acknowledged the generosity of donors through Proverbs 18:20, “A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great.”
