Indian Creek holds Men’s Senior Club championships

Indian Creek Yacht and Country Club golfers held their Men’s Senior Club Championships August 22 and 23.

The Senior Division (55+), Super Senior (70+) and Super Super Senior (80+) competed over 36 holes of stroke play, reported head golf professional Mike Mayer. The course played exceptionally long under rainy conditions on the first round and perfect summer weather during round 2. All winners successfully defended their 2019 titles.

Bob Gillispie fired a 36-hole total of 146 to capture the Senior Division championship with a six-stroke margin of victory over Cruger Ragland who captured low net honors. Kevin Crawford placed second low gross, 159; and John Halley, third, 160…
