Lancaster County Public Schools (LCPS) recently issued a call for edible art.
“Join in the art fun at LCPS! Create a fun snack with your LCPS student—family and friends—that ‘looks like something else’,” said Lancaster Primary School art teacher Kendra Hunt.
“Enjoy sharing time with your youth creating not only an edible masterpiece but a special memory,” she said.
The LCPS Family Edible Art Contest is a highlight of the annual LCPS County-wide Art Show. Edible entries are due in the Lancaster Middle School front lobby between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. April 20.
The art show will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to noon April 21 in the LMS Gym, 191 School Street, Kilmarnock.
