Mathews beat Lancaster in the best of three series two weeks ago to win the District 15 Junior League Softball Tournament at the Northumberland County Little League complex in Claraville. Lancaster edged Mathews, 7-4, in the first game and Mathews rebounded to beat Lancaster back-to-back, 6-4 and 7-1, to claim the championship.
