Lancaster fields a young wrestling squad

Despite his low numbers and his team’s overall lack of experience, coach Craig Oren is pleased with his wrestling team’s start, a 1-1 in Claraville last Wednesday and a 2-3 day against 3A and 4A schools in Waynesboro last Saturday.

“Waynesboro is a tough tournament and going 2-3 after wrestling 3A and 4A schools isn’t bad,” he said. “I was impressed with the positive attitudes from our team, even as some faced tough losses.”
