The Tides Inn in Irvington will host the world-wide launch party and book signing for The Bermuda Privateer, Bill Westbrook’s debut novel. The event will be held at 6 p.m. September 20 at the Tides Inn and is by reservation only.
“Westbrook has had an astonishing career in marketing and advertising. He was one of the founding fathers of placing modern day Irvington, Virginia, onto the map,” said the Tides Inn general manager Gordon Slatford. “His resurrection of the Hope and Glory Inn, creation of The Local and Trick Dog Café and his opening of a winery in Irvington, was just the foundational stage in his reinvention of this glorious small town we call home.”
