KILMARNOCK—The Kilmarnock Town Council on Monday, March 21, heard a presentation from Paul Sciacchitano regarding a vision for Lancaster County by 2035.
According to Sciacchitano, roughly two years ago the Citizens Business Relations Advisory Committee (CBRAC) was formed by the Lancaster board of supervisors and given the responsibility to create a 2035 strategic plan.
A major threat to the county’s economic and community wellbeing is identified as the declining population of 20-55 year olds as well as children, he said.
