White Stone man pleads guilty to involuntary manslaughter relating to two drug overdoses

LANCASTER—Philip Ethan Dean of White Stone on Friday, March 18, appeared in Lancaster County Circuit Court and pleaded guilty to two counts of involuntary manslaughter and distribution of a Schedule I/II substance with accommodation.

The charges stem from the July 25, 2020, accidental overdose deaths of Toleman Andrew “Andy” Pittman III and Shawna Lynn Pfarr of Weems.

Dean, 42, was originally charged with two counts of felony murder and distribution of a Schedule I/II substance, but the charges were reduced under the terms of a plea agreement. Two felony probation violations and a felony for violating pretrial release conditions were also dismissed.
