The Saltwater Shootout committee was formed in 2023 to create a fishing tournament that would allow all people to participate regardless of the size of their boat and to give back to the community through a scholarship program, said committee member Heather Cockrell.
The committee this year funded scholarships for five graduating seniors, including three from Northumberland and two from Lancaster, said Cockrell. This is the first year the committee has been able to extend scholarships to Lancaster….
