NNO Chamberfest to showcase new music

The Northern Neck Orchestra (NNO) Chamberfest concert series will present “Music from the Americas, Scandinavia and Turkey” at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 28, at Good Luck Cellars, 1025 Goodluck Road, Kilmarnock.

The June 28 concert will showcase Jessie Montgomery’s Voodoo Dolls for String Quartet; Wood Works, arranged by the Danish String Quartet; Fazil Say’s Black Earth for Solo Piano; and Jose Elizondo’s Danzas LatinoAmericanas for Flute, Piano and String Quartet.

Tickets are $35 and may be purchased at www.northernneckorchestra.org, or the door. Students are admitted free with an online reservation.
