Kelsey Bishoff, a junior at Lancaster High School, recently competed with Rock Gold Godwin/Sobataka In the Triple Crown Colorado Sparkler Softball Tournament 18U bracket.

Widely recognized as one of the nation’s most highly recruited fast pitch softball tournaments, the competition brings together over 1,000 teams and some 16,000 athletes from across the country. The tournament is attended by hundreds of college coaches.
Bishoff recently was invited to tryout for the Rock Gold 18U travel ball team and hadn’t played with the team until the Boulder tournament. Despite the fact coaches had only seen her recruitment reels and not seen her play in person, she quickly proved her worth, playing in every tournament game—starting in all but one—and getting playing time at first and second bases, along with her normal third base position.
