KUMC Dine for a Cause supports LHS robotics team

Kilmarnock United Methodist Church hosted its monthly Dine for a Cause dinner on Wednesday, August 19. The community gathered for an evening of food and fellowship in support of the Lancaster High School Kinetic Storm robotics team.

Dine for a Cause is held from 5-7 p.m. on third Wednesdays. Community members are invited to enjoy a home-cooked meal, available to dine in or carry out, for a donation. Proceeds directly support a different organization each month.

The recent dinner raised over $2,000 for Kinetic Storm. The program gives students experience in engineering, coding, robotics and teamwork, building practical skills for….
