It has been 243 years since the document severing the ties between the 13 American colonies and Great Britain was adopted by the Continental Congress. Ever since, Americans, from sea to shining sea and beyond, have joined together to commemorate and to celebrate life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
And so, the Reedville Festival Chorale, under the direction of Sharon Freude, invites the public to join in a grand old celebration in song at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 7, at Festival Halle, 177 Main Street, Reedville.
