The board of directors of The Lancaster Players will host a community get-together at 7 p.m. Thursday, September 12, at The Lancaster Playhouse, 361 Chesapeake Drive, White Stone.
The event is open to all local residents, reported president Luke Rawls. Soft drinks and snacks will be provided.
“We want to let the community know who we are and what we’re planning. The forum will present ways in which new folks can participate,” said Rawls. “It will also provide an opportunity for discussion, suggestions and feedback. Theater-making has great potential for enhancing the spirit of a community.”
Other board members include Mandy West, Sallie Dashiell, Mari Bonomi, Bob Walker, Robin Blake, Jacqueline Allen, Sheila Brown, Sally Clark, Anita Mergener and Wilma Tripodi.
