Indian Creek Yacht & Country Club head golf professional Mike Mayer recently announced the 2018 men’s club champion, Bob Gillespie, also won the 2019 championship.
New this year, the men’s club championship featured a qualifying round followed by flighted match play competition, said Mayer. Some 22 men competed in the qualifying round on Saturday, October 5. Three flights of eight were formed based on those qualifying scores with the top seed in the championship flight earmarked for Gillispie, the 2018 club champion.
