KILMARNOCK—Laura Anna Cox Waller of Kilmarnock died Tuesday, February 4, 2020.
She was born October 16, 1938, in Kilmarnock to the late Anna Harris Cox and Thomas Cox Sr.
She attended A.T. Wright High School in White Stone. She was employed at Rappahannock General Hospital and the Lancashire Convalescent Center.
Mrs. Waller was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She served on the usher committee, was a member of the Virginia Calvary Club and was involved in the women’s ministry program.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Waller; sons, Joseph Maurice Waller, Samuel Waller and Darrin Waller; sister, Nadine Cox Butler; and brother, Thomas Cox Jr.
She is survived by daughters, Vinetta Banks, Lavetta Veney and Lisa Waller; sons, Tony Waller and Steve Waller; 24 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral was held Thursday, February 13, at Calvary Baptist Church, Kilmarnock. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
