CALLAO—Melissa D. Brann, 77, of Callao passed July 2, 2020. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
She is survived by her grandchildren, D. Dawn Hale (Ronnie), Michelle A. Hall (Jimmy), Abbeyanne F. Brann (Jacob), Jonathan T. Brann (Praise), Ethan C. Brann (Shelby) and Jordan W. Brann (Loren); great-grandchildren, Hannah V. Hall, Gracianne M. Hall, Samuel L. Brann, Chase D. Brann, Chandler B. Brann and Julian M. Brann; and many brothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Brann Sr.; and her sons, William F. Brann Jr. and John W. Brann.
Melissa retired with 37 years at Levi Strauss and dedicated her life to taking care of others. She enjoyed spending time with her family, growing beautiful flowers and listening to gospel music.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock. Interment followed the service at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. Family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 6, at the funeral home.
