Northumberland High School Beta ‘team’ places in national convention

Three Northumberland High School (NHS) freshmen recently received national accolades, winning first place in the freshman problem solving category at the National Beta competitions.

For the last few months, National Beta members from NHS and their faculty sponsor Karen Baker have been submitting entries for the National Beta Virtual Convention. In late July, the winners were announced and Northumberland’s team of James Baker, Abigail Jennings and Corrie Minor received first place.
