Historic Christ Church & Museum (HCC&M), 420 Christ Church Road, Weems, will host “Colonial Tavern Fare” from 2-4 p.m. December 6.
The drive-thru, pick-up event features cuisine that builds on the foodways of colonial Virginia, reported executive director Robert J. Teagle. The menu will include a salad of greens, roasted vegetables and chevre served with a sherry vinaigrette; biscuits and butter; harvest pie and a choice of three entrees: beef burgundy, smoked pork loin with apple-sausage stuffing, or crab and corn ragout (gluten/dairy free).
