Rand Hooper charged with felony homicide in 2017 boating accident

RICHMOND—Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department deputies, with the assistance of the Richmond Police Department, on Tuesday, December 8, arrested John Randolph “Rand” Hooper at his home on Park Avenue in Richmond.

According to Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie, Hooper was charged with felony homicide in connection with a 2017 boating accident on Carter Creek that killed his friend, Graham McCormick.
