REEDVILLE—The Northern Neck Patriotic Piecers on Friday, December 18, presented a Quilt of Valor to the Rev. Lee Scripture Jr. of Wicomico at the American Legion Post #117 in Reedville.
Rev. Scripture served in the U.S. Army during both the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War, rising to the rank of captain, reported Denise Munns. He earned a Purple Heart while serving in Korea.
