Volunteers needed for vaccination clinic

KILMARNOCK—Bon Secours Rappahannock General Hospital and Three Rivers Health District are working in partnership to increase COVID-19 vaccination opportunities for 25,000 eligible Northern Neck residents.

“The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) is appreciative of its partnership with Bon Secours to establish a Community Vaccination Center,” said Three Rivers District director Richard S. Williams, MD, MPH. “We see this clinic as an important addition to the capacity of our other partners to vaccinate all citizens as supplies and eligibility expand.”

There are 24 Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) approved sites in this region that receive vaccines from the Three Rivers Health District. These include pharmacies, free health clinics, EMS teams and medical practices. This new community clinic augments the vaccinations that others have been providing.

The clinic started three weeks ago at White Stone Church of the Nazarene, 57 Whisk Drive, White Stone.
