Over 50 vendors have signed up for the Heathsville Farmers Market from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, May 15, on the grounds adjacent to historic Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern at 73 Monument Place in Heathsville.
The highlight of this month’s market is a flower show in the Tavern Meeting Building, said Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern executive director Corinne Becker.
This free National Garden Club Standard Flower Show is sponsored by the Chesapeake Bay Garden Club. The exhibit is entitled “A Year Like No Other,” and will include floral arrangements, horticulture and botanical arts displays created by club members, she said.
