Middlesex dominates track and field event

Middlesex High School ran away with a dual victory at a home track and field meet in Saluda last week.

The Lady Chargers scored 79 points to win the four-team meet and the MHS boys team dominated with 109 points.

In the boys meet, Middlesex was 36.5 points better than runner-up Rappahannock, which finished with 72.5. Lancaster was third with 58.5 points and Essex fourth with 5.

Middlesex won nine individual events to lead to the team win.
