Lancaster County native Willsonia Boyer will perform “An Afternoon of Art Songs and Arias,” accompanied by Suzanne Daniel, at 4 p.m. Saturday, October 2, inside Historic Christ Church.
An opera singer and concert artist who grew up across the street from Christ Church, Boyer is a soprano who made her New York recital debut at Merkin Concert Hall to critical acclaim.
She has performed with the New York City Opera, Virginia Opera, Bregenzer Festspiele, Bronx Opera, Dicapo Opera Theatre, New Jersey Concert Opera, Mile Long Opera, and at venues in Europe and South America as well as the U.S.
