KILMARNOCK—John R. Packey, 73, of Kilmarnock, passed away December 8, 2021.
He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Packey Wilson (Michael); granddaughters, Taylor Selph (Franklin), Holly Selph (Kyle) and Kaylee Selph; great-grandchildren, Gage and Remy Cook; brother, Ray Packey (Patty); several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Bambi.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Rose Packey; brothers, Al Packey and Bill Packey; and great grandson, Landon Selph.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 14, at Wesley Evangelical Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Weems. Currie Funeral Home LLC of Kilmarnock handled the arrangements.
