LANCASTER—David N. Petersen, 73, of Lancaster passed away January 15, 2022.
He is survived by his wife, Mag Petersen; and three brothers, Don Petersen (Linda), Doug Petersen (Barbara Ensor) and Jim Petersen (Bette).
David graduated from George Mason College of the University of Virginia with a degree in history.
He worked as a facilities engineer for Fairfax County Public Schools and retired in 2003.
He had a great love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed kayaking. He taught handgun safety courses, was an excellent guitarist and enjoyed singing with his brothers.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a. m. Thursday, April 7, 2022, at St. Mary’s Whitechapel, Lively.
