KING GEORGE—Earl Thomas “Tommy” Ware Jr. died March 8, 2022, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.
He was born April 16, 1967, in Tappahannock to Earl Thomas Ware Sr. and the late Catherine Richardson Ware. He grew up in Supply and attended Essex County Public Schools and Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Tommy worked at White Packing Company Inc. in King George and later at VCC Construction Company for many years until his health began to fail.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Richardson Ware; his daughter, Sacha Allen; and his son, Derrick Allen.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Allen of King George; his daughter, Sashay Brown of Woodbridge, his son, Carlos Allen of Baltimore, Md.; his father, Earl Thomas Ware Sr. of Port Royal; sisters, Cyndi Fauntleroy of Waldorf, Md., Stacy Ware of Port Royal, Christina Ware of Tappahannock and Dashanda Rich of Port Royal; and six grandchildren, Ty Asia, Trent, Chase, Ava, Evan and Isaiah.
A funeral service was held at 1 p.m. March 16 at Salem Baptist Church, King George. Viewing preceded the service from noon-1 p.m. Interment followed in the Salem Baptist Cemetery.
