Over 60 vendors have signed up for the season-opening Heathsville Farmers Market from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville.

This day-long event will be presented in conjunction with the Tavern Wine Tasting Festival and an Earth Day celebration, said Becker.
New vendors include folks selling eggs, meat, produce, candles, air plants, designer dog collars and leashes, canned goods, decorative pillows, hand-spun yarn and hand-loomed potholders, she said.
