LANCASTER—Raymond Walker Lewis, 93, of Lancaster passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 2, 2023.
Raymond is survived by his wife of 62 years, June Carol Lewis. He is also survived by a brother, Calvin Lewis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joshua and Eva Walker Lewis; his sister, Lydia L. Bryant; and his brothers, Randolph Lewis, Stanley Lewis, Hampton Lewis and Gene Lewis.
Raymond was a Korean War veteran and lifelong member of Corrottoman Baptist Church. He was a waterman and farmer.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 11, at Corrottoman Baptist Church.
