Brown and Coleman lead Lady Devils to first place in track and field meet at King William

Deja Brown and Kiera Coleman won individual events and the Lady Devils won two of three relay races last Thursday to score 141 points and beat eight teams at a King William High School track and field meet.

The Devils were 23 points better than team runner-up Rappahannock with 118 points.

Brown won two of her events, clearing 4’10” to win the high jump and she won the 100 hurdles in 17.57. Brown also finished third in the triple jump, 29’7”, to lead Lancaster’s girls in scoring.

Coleman won the 800 meter in 2:30.53.
