The Lancaster Players recently announced auditions for “In the Rest Room at Rosenblooms.” Performance dates are scheduled for weekends in early November.
Auditions will be held from 7-8 p.m. August 28 and 29, at The Playhouse, 361 Chesapeake Drive, White Stone. The casting call is for four women, ages 50-70.
Director Linda Stough describes the play, written by Ludmilla Bollow, as a “light comedy with poignant moments.” The setting is the ladies lounge of an outdated downtown department store where three friends meet each day and share their hopes, dreams and fears.
Those who are interested and cannot be present at auditions may call The Playhouse, 435-3776, and leave a message. Stough urges novice actors and newcomers to audition.
