TUCSON, AZ—James Robert Olech, 77, of Tucson, Arizona, died on January 18, 2024.
He was a U.S. Air Force decorated Vietnam Veteran. After his military service he received a bachelor’s in chemistry and a master’s in business administration. He had 23 years of service with the U.S. Border Patrol and retired as assistant chief in Tucson.
Surviving are his wife, Alice Lewis Olech, formerly of Edgley Farm in Lancaster; a daughter, Jennifer; son-in-law, Mark; grandchildren, Gavin and Luke; and sister, Linda Neese.
Funeral services were held February 7 at Brings Broadway Chapel, Tucson.
