WHITE STONE—The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will begin a week of routine bridge maintenance activities on the Robert O. Norris Jr. Memorial Bridge over the Rappahannock River starting Monday, February 26, and continuing through Friday, March 1.
From 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day, Route 3 will be reduced to a single lane on a portion of the bridge, weather permitting. Message boards will be posted at both bridge approaches to alert travelers to the work zone.
Drivers can expect brief daytime delays crossing….
