Belle Isle State Park (BISP), 1632 Belle Isle Road, Lancaster, will host “Navigating the Night Sky” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at the Visitor Center. The speaker will be Bob Sutherland, who continues a series of Dark Sky-themed talks held at BISP over the past year.

A member of the Shiloh School Astronomy Club, Sutherland’s most recent presentation was on “Astrophotography That Everyone Can Do.”

“Do you struggle to find the North Star, the Big Dipper or Orion?” asked Sutherland. “In this star talk, I’ll cover the night sky using a few simple keys to unlock the stars you can see and use them to find some hidden gems in the night sky.”

The program will be held rain or shine. Following the presentation and weather permitting, the group will move outdoors for a “sky tour” of the stars and planets. Bring binoculars.
