Ware Academy held its 2024 commencement ceremony on May 31 at Ware Episcopal Church. Guest speaker Julien Patterson addressed the Class of 2024.
Individual awards were distributed in addition to the graduation certificates, reported Meghan Cunningham, marketing and social media specialist. The Decade Award was presented to students who attended Ware Academy from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. J.R. Andrews, Rylee Buck, George Henry Fitzgerald, Sydney Latoski and Sawyer Stevens received this award.
Samantha Ames received the Headmaster’s Award for contributing the most to the school’s community in academics and character and the Faculty Award, given to the student with the highest GPA.
