HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, June 18, with the Hon. Steven S. Smith presiding.
In the case of Dayane K. Corsey of Callao, charged with shooting a firearm from a vehicle, malicious shooting/throwing at a car, use of a firearm in a felony, and malicious wounding, bond was granted and a trial was set for August 20.
In the case of Dakota A. Galves of Port Haywood, charged with probation violation on a felony offense, a trial was set for September 17.
Terry M. Gordon of Hampton pleaded guilty to probation violation on a felony offense. His probation was revoked and he was sentenced to four years and three months with four years and three months suspended. He faces $183 in costs.
In the case of Wesley A. Tanner II of Reedville, a charge of strangulation resulting in injury was dismissed.
Following a deferred disposition, David C. Wimer of Reedville was found guilty of grand larceny of over $1,000 not personal property and entering a house to commit assault and battery. He was sentenced to five years with three years and nine months suspended. He faces $1,965.66 in costs and will be….
