Heathsville United Methodist Church, 39 Courthouse Road, Heathsville, recently announced Rev. William “Bill” Burrough will now serve as church pastor.
Rev. Burrough is a graduate of Eastern Mennonite Seminary and has a doctorate from American Bible Institute in Falls Church. He has served in the Virginia United Methodist Church since 1972 as an elder.
He has lead congregations in six different districts, at times serving up to five churches at one time. While serving in the Arlington District, Bill was invited to give the pastoral prayer for the opening of the U.S. Senate.
