LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, August 2, with the Hon. John S. Martin presiding.
In the case of James B. Kelly Jr. of Lancaster, charged with two felonies for malicious shooting into an occupied building, an arraignment was continued by the defense and a hearing to appoint counsel was scheduled for August 16.
In the case of Nathan A. Walker of Kilmarnock, charged with a felony for malicious wounding, an arraignment was continued by the defense and a status hearing scheduled for August 9.
In the case of Jerome A. Elmore of Lancaster, charged with a felony for manufacturing/distributing a Schedule I/II substance, third-plus offense, a status hearing was scheduled for November 22.
In the case of Travis T. Hatton of Farnham, charged with a felony for accepting more than $200 in advance pay but not providing construction, a felony for obtaining money under false pretenses, and a misdemeanor for working without a contractors license/violating contractor regulations, all charges were dismissed after a bench trial.
In the case of Jeremy R. Tyson II of Lancaster, charged with a felony for aggravated sexual battery of a victim less than 13-years-old, a jury trial was scheduled for November 20 and 21.
