Khandro to speak at UUFR Sunday

As a dedicated professional, spiritual mentor and speaker, Sherab “Shey” Khandro (above) advocates for loving oneself, each other and the planet. Sherab “Shey” Khandro, an artist, philosopher and Buddhist nun, will speak at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 25, at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Rappahannock (UUFR), 366 James Wharf Road, White Stone. All are welcome.

“In My Journey As A Buddhist Nun,” Shey says, “I share my transformative shift from a worldly life to a monastic path.” Through vivid stories and personal insights, she reveals the lessons of mindfulness, purpose and inner strength she learned. This talk highlights the highs and lows of her spiritual journey and how embracing change and intention can lead to profound personal growth and fulfillment.
