
When duty calls, one can never be sure of the course that life will take.
Such is the case for Rev. Dr. Randolph Meade Walker. He lived 51 years in Memphis, Tenn., where he labored as a sales account executive for AC-Delco Division of General Motors, a history professor at LeMoyne-Owen College and pastor of three different Baptist churches.
He retired from Castalia Baptist Church, after 25 years. He then returned to his native Northumberland County on October 3, 2023, and immediately rejoined his home church of First Baptist in Heathsville.
When the pastor, Rev. Dr. John Fountaine retired on August 11, the church unanimously elected Rev. Dr. Walker as interim….
