HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, October 1, with the Hon. John S. Martin presiding.
In the case of Alexis A. Carter of Heathsville, charged with 20 counts of felony dog fighting activity, the case was continued to November 26. Carter also faces a misdemeanor charge of depriving an animal of food.
In the case of Jennifer L. Creeth of Reedville, a malicious wounding assault charge resulting in an injured victim was dismissed.
In the case of Bobby R. Landman III of Lottsburg, charged with second degree murder and use of a firearm in a felony, a plea was set for October 22.
In the case of Ethan Lo of Altadena, Calif., a charge of rape by force or threat was dismissed.
In the case of Chasity A. Crocket of Colonial Beach, charged with probation violation on a felony offense, the case was continued to October 22.
