Earlier in 2024, the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) awarded a substantial grant to the Rappahannock Community College (RCC) Educational Foundation Inc. The $5.1 million EDA grant lays the groundwork for the construction of a Health Science building at the Warsaw campus.
Since the announcement of the grant award, numerous donors and foundations have pledged financial support for the project that requires at least an additional $1.3 million in contributions from other sources. The financial support demonstrates a collaborative effort to enhance the region’s educational and training landscape.
