LCL hosts ‘Bravery, Courage and Valor’

For the month of February, the Lancaster Community Library, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock, invites everyone to view the Black History Month display, “Bravery, Courage and Valor.”

The lobby display recognizes those who served in the American Revolutionary War, including the first African American female Buffalo Soldier, Cathay Williams, and Lancaster County resident Buffalo Soldier, Alfred Carter.

Lancaster County citizens who served in World Wars I and II also are….
