Dream Fields on Wednesday, June 4, will celebrate 60 years of Little League play at the fields at 1385 Irvington Road, Weems.
“Join us for a fun night at the ballpark as we recognize players who’ve played at the park over the years,” said Lancaster County Little League president Tiffany Wolfe.
All former baseball and softball players planning to attend should email dreamfieldsinfo@gmail.com to be a part of the ceremony.
“We especially would love to have players from the 1965 inaugural season but all former players are welcome,” said Wolfe.
The ceremony will begin at 5:45 p.m. on the DuPont Field with brothers Herbert “Big Boy” and Hubert “PeeWee” Blake, who played in the first games at the park some….
