Routine inspection project begins on the Norris Bridge

WHITE STONE—Starting this week, motorists can expect daytime delays on the Robert O. Norris Jr. Memorial Bridge. A routine, scheduled inspection of the bridge is underway.

From 9 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays, through Friday, October 24, a portion of the bridge will be reduced to a single travel lane, reported Virginia Department of Transportation Fredericksburg District senior communications specialist Darragh Frye.
