King William High School on October 7 claimed three of the top five spots to win the boys cross country race while host West Point claimed five of the top 10 spots to win the girls race in a multi-school meet at West Point Country Club.
Miko Layne and Keichan Layne, both of Middlesex, paced 27 runners in the girls race. M. Layne ran a 21:51 race to win. K. Layne had a time of 22:00 as runner-up.
For West Point, Natalie Fulks was third, 22:41, Headley Bowis fourth, 23:10, Lena Sanders fifth, 23:22, and Yenvy Nguyen, sixth, 24:09, to lead the Pointers to a team low 27 points.
